Roberts Rummage is located in the oldest habitable house in Hastings. It is almost 700 years old and is frequently seen in old postcards of Hastings. The shop had just been named after 18 years of being nameless, because people used to say they come to rummage at Roberts, so we called it Roberts Rummage. It celebrated its 20th birthday this year and is considered to be part and parcel of Hastings Old Town.

Inside my shops you will find the whole history of mankind: from antiquities to 5p.
postcards. Roberts Curios sells Ethnic art: Tribal, Islamic, and Oriental art as well as
little curios from around the world. In Roberts Rummage you can rummage to your
hearts delight for your favourite author or just for a lost teaspoon (10p each).
These are not ordinary shops and they are part and parcel of Hastings Old Town. My
shops are surrounded by many other unique individual shops and together we offer
a great, entertaining shopping for the whole family!
I am open 7 days a week, 364 days a year (closed Christmas day, sorry), 11am till
6p.m. Both shops are on High Street within 30 metres of each other. I will see you in
one of them.
